Reminder for Youth Band

Hey guys, don't forget that those of you who are playing or singing next Sunday need to meet with Bro. Steve, Wednesday at 5:30 to practice. Remember to be praying for Youth Sunday and that God will use you in some way!

Also, we will start a new lesson series this Sunday night on "Spiritual Gifts". The first section will focus on the Holy Spirit. Take time this week to read and pray on Acts 2:1-6. This will be the main scripture for this Sunday night.

Be Like The Moon!

Here's a little fact that you may or may not know. The moon does not produce it's own light. We see the moon at night and we have what we call "moonlight" only because the moon reflects the light of the sun. I've no doubt that as you guys go about your lives this week at school you encounter numerous lost people. Keep this in mind and remember to be like the moon and reflect the light of the Son! You may be the only light some people see.

Youth Blog and Youth Sunday

Hey Guys!
I had the idea to start up this blog to keep you all up to date on events and things going on within the youth group. For instance, directly following morning worship this Sunday we will be working on preparing for Youth Sunday (April 5th). We will work with Bro Steve on the music, continue working on the video testimonies, and practice the skit a few times on the stage. It's really important that everyone involved with the music and the skit are there. We will provide lunch and if anyone needs a ride there or a ride home just let me know. So anyway, check back in here regularly to see what's going on! I will also post some thoughts and/or encouraging remarks throughout the week. Also, let me know what else you'd like to see on the blog as far as pictures, links, ect.
